Day 1 - Monday

All well, woke up to warm sunshine and got the bus to school which is HUGE! The Hotel is in the centre of Florence and we enjoyed looking at the ceiling frescoes whilst having breakfast. Everyone is friendly and we are learning some Italian. Pasta for lunch which was delicious. Then we joined a pottery class and made some fab things! Oliver and Rachael also went to a music lesson.... Learning opera!!!!! Mrs Norton and Mrs Thompson are looking forward to ice cream tonight and have spent all day deciding which flavour!

    It sounds as though you have had a busy day. Well, opera singing, Rachel we'll never get you out of the shower now!     Sounds like a fantastic 1st day. Rachel - hope we get to hear your attempts at opera!! Fingers crossed the weather stays nice all week for you guys. Emilia-I really hope you're having a go speaking a few Italian words to your hosts (from your books)& have the energy to write in your journal. Cant wait to hear more of what you're all up to.
